Project Description

The job profiles of disposal and professional drivers have changed fundamentally in recent years: Increasing cognitive requirements as well as the consequences of mediatization and digitization pose new challenges for employees. These include the use of telematics and driver assistance systems, the use of private media for professional purposes and as a result a changing working environment for drivers and disposal. The MeMoApp project takes up these developments and develops a media education concept under the collective term of the MeKoSmartHub on the one hand and the technical components for use in the participating partner companies on the other. Especially in view of the high degree of mobility in the professional field, driving personnel are dependent on efficient ways of communicating and exchanging information with the help of the media. Promoting media literacy is an important prerequisite for meeting these challenges.
With its media education concept, the MeKoSmartHub forms the basis for a systematic integration of this support into the company work and learning culture and at the same time promotes the transfer of knowledge within the companies and within the respective occupational groups. In summary, a meaningful integration of the numerous digital media, both private and corporate, is supported with the participation of the relevant actors in the company. Central components of the MeMoApp project are an operational wiki and an information pool as content components of the smart hub. All modules are continuously developed further in coordination with the practical partners and serve the organisational development.

MeMoApp is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and co-financed by the European Social Fund for the period from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2020.
